Aether is a four-piece hard rock band out of Dodge City, KS founded in 2017. The band started after singer Orlando Galvan and guitarist Hugo Hernandez wanted to start a side project from their previous band, Guns on Mars. The band has seen multiple changes before its current lineup with drummer Alex Rodriguez and Bassist Chris Clark. Since 2020, Aether has been the most driven and motivated with the release of some of its best music, live production, and online content. Aether created its music showcase in 2022 called “Gunsmoke Sessions” in Dodge City. The vision for Gunsmoke Sessions is to create a fun and safe environment where anyone can enjoy live music of all genres.

The name “Aether” and its logo came from Orlando, who thought to put the “A” in parentheses to symbolize a double meaning. There’s “ether,’ known for its use as a drug, and the Greek personification of the sky described as the “aether”.

“Aether is hands down the best thing I’ve been a part of,” Hernandez said. “It takes like-minded people to make things flourish and come to life. I am stoked to be a part of it!"
